MEET YOUR ORTHODONTISTS
Dr. Sierra Burick
Dr. Sierra Burick is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles because she knows firsthand how impactful orthodontic care can be. While going through two phases of braces as a teen, she enjoyed the process to enhance her smile and also found her dream career. She believes in working as a team with her patients to create healthy, beautiful smiles while focusing on comfort, trust, and making the process fun and rewarding from start to finish.
Dr. Burick obtained her undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University and then attended dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her Master of Science and completed her orthodontic training at the University of Louisville while serving as chief resident.
Now excited to call the West Coast home, Dr. Burick is enjoying all that Northern California has to offer. Outside of the office, you’ll likely find her exploring the local food scene, spending time outdoors, diving into a good book, or watching sports to cheer on all of her ACC schools, the Atlanta Braves, and now the San Francisco Giants!
Dr. Rael Bernstein
Dr. Bernstein was born and raised in South Africa and attended the prestigious Wits Dental School, where he finished at the top of his class. He then completed his orthodontic specialty residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
After his residency, he accepted a university fellowship position, where he became a clinical assistant professor in the orthodontic department.
He yearned for a climate similar to South Africa and decided to relocate to Southern California, where he met his wife, Debbie, also a dental specialist.
He opened his first orthodontic practice shortly after.
Dr. Bernstein is committed to excellence in orthodontics. He has lectured nationally on self-ligation and early interception treatment to other orthodontists and dentists. He strives to provide the latest and greatest to all of his patients in a friendly, upbeat atmosphere.
In his spare time, Dr. Bernstein enjoys racing go-karts, working out, snowboarding in winter, and devoting himself to his wife and two daughters.

HOW MUCH DO BRACES COST?
The cost of treatment will vary depending on treatment complexity and type but most braces are in the $6000 range for standard treatment. Our Treatment Coordinator will work with you to find an option that best suits you and will help guide you through each step of the orthodontic treatment process.

ORTHODONTIC INSURANCE
Our office makes every effort to make orthodontic treatment affordable and accessible, which means working with your insurance plan to maximize coverage. We accept most PPO Insurance Plans and will file claims on your behalf.
Please make sure you provide us will all your insurance information prior to your first visit, so we can verify how much your plan will cover.

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that all children between the ages of 7 and 8 have an initial orthodontic screening. Early assessment helps identify and correct potential issues while kids jaws are still developing and adult teeth are coming in.
